With June being Brain Injury Awareness Month, we wanted to share the story of a Cota client who, against all odds (and during a pandemic!) has made incredible strides in the past year.

The purpose of this article is twofold; to outline the role of the Toronto Police Mobile Crisis Intervention Team (MCIT), while providing information about one of Cota’s newest partnerships, MCIT Follow-Up.

This development, led by The Neighbourhood Group and Cota will offer integrative, community-based care to residents.
